GT New Horizons - Land Claiming!
This is a Guide how to use Land Claiming on GTNH. Please read the entire thing carefully so there is no mistake on your part.
Warning: Sometime in Mid December we will be removing FTB Utilities off the server due to bugs, issues, and plain and simple difficult ease of use on having to install the client addon. Immediately you will not be able to claim anymore land as well with it.
Please Note: You start with 256 Blocks (1 chunk if used as a square) of surface area claims and you receive another 256 per hour while actively playing the game for a total of 6400 blocks (equivalent of 5x5 chunks if used as a square). In the future you will be able to donate to the server to help support the costs for more claim area. You also get a maximum of 3 claim plots. One for your House and 2 others for things to protect temporary like a Oil Rig, Etc.
Tools of the trade:
[Stone Shovel] Lets you right click 2 points to claim land
[Stick] Lets you inspect the ground to tell you info about a claim & who owns it as well show you a border via fake gold blocks on the ground.
Commands of the trade:
/claimlist, Shows you your claims and how many blocks you can claim in total.
/abandonclaim, While standing in your claim it will abandon the claim.
/abandonallclaims, This will abandon all your claims from the server.
/claim RangeInNumbers, Lets you claim without using a [Stone Shovel] but it's radius range in blocks from the player and can be tricky to judge your claim and recommended you always use the [Stone Shovel] method.
Trust Commands (Giving Others Permissions):
/TrustList, Lists the permissions for the claim you're standing in.
/Trust PlayerName, Gives another player FULL permission to edit in your claim.
/AccessTrust PlayerName, Gives a player permission to use your buttons, levers, and beds.
/UnTrust PlayerName, Revokes any permissions granted to a player in your claim.
/ContainerTrust PlayerName, Gives a player permission to use your buttons, levers, beds, crafting gear, containers, and animals.
/PermissionTrust PlayerName, Grants a player FULL permissions and the ability to share his permission level with others.
/Untrust All, Removes all permissions for all players in your claim.
/Trapped, If stuck in someones claim you can use this to get outside of it.
/GivePet, This allows you to trade things like horses, etc to other players and give the deed over.
Please Note 2: If someone gives you permissions on their claim and you use it for group land, etc. We will NOT transfer or remove these claims if a player quits or is banned from the game. You are responsible for grouping up with people you trust.
Please Note 3: If you die in someone else claim or spawn you can't retrieve your items. You will have to contact the owner to get your items back. If you are unable to get in contact with the owner then you may contact an admin after 7 days are up to help you out if the items are important enough. The same applies to spawn you must wait 7 days. This is a punishment for dying in someone else claims when you had no reason to be in the claim as well as to reduce the amount of hands on administration required.
